The WA Aquatic Recreation Industry Awards (WA ARI Awards) are designed to highlight and award excellence of Individuals and organisations within the WA aquatic recreation industry. The awards provide a powerful motivation tool to encourage ongoing professional development for individuals, and organisations & building community engagement. Regional WA Aquatic Recreation Seminar Kulin 2022

The 26th Annual Regional Seminar was held on 27th October with 30 registered delegates from around the regions attending for a day of networking and collaboration. The day started with introductions and a review of the State of the Industry report by LIWA Aquatics President Nick Wilkinson.

Bigger Better Safer Industry Report 2021

LIWA AGM and consitution proposed changes 2021

The proposed Constitution will be presented to members for adoption by way of Special Resolution at the Annual General Meeting on 27th October 2021. However, we are keen to get any comments or questions in relation to our revised Constitution before then, so they can be considered before we give formal notice of the Special Resolution.

Aquatic Industry continues post-COVID recovery

The latest Royal Life Saving report on the impact of COVID-19 on WA’s Aquatics Industry has found that, despite the hardships faced by centres, the Aquatic Recreation Industry is rapidly recovering post COVID-19. Aquatic recreation centres have seen a 23% increase in visitation rates from this time last year despite COVID-19's earlier interruptions.

LIWA Aquatics is in phase 2 of reviewing our Strategic Plan and have sent out a 5 min survey via email today to our Members, Partners, and Key Stakeholders for your input / opinion.
