LIWA Aquatic & Recreation Seminar – Narrogin

LIWA Aquatics, together with our Principal Professional Development Sponsor Pool Robotics Perth, and in partnership with Royal Life Saving WA and the Shire of Narrogin, invites aquatic, recreation and Council staff from the Wheatbelt Region to attend the Aquatic & Recreation Seminar at the in Shire Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre. Industry traders are also welcome to attend and are encouraged to register via the link provided.

The seminar will provide delegates with a full day of professional development, networking and practical learning, featuring presentations from industry leaders and showcasing the latest innovations in aquatic and recreation facility management. The full program will be released in late July, with registrations opening soon.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour the Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre and hear firsthand about the facility's exciting transformation. The Centre recently secured $535,358 in Australian Government funding to replace its ageing gas boiler with a high-efficiency electric heat pump supported by a 200kW solar system. The project is expected to reduce annual energy costs by more than $379,000 while cutting carbon emissions by 523 tonnes each year, making it one of the most significant clean-energy upgrades undertaken by a regional aquatic facility in Western Australia
