Waterwise Aquatic Centres
LIWA Aquatics and the Water Corporation has formed a partnership to help assist and recognise Aquatic Centres to become Waterwise.
To be endorsed as Waterwise, centres must carry out a review of water use and have various water efficiency measures in place including daily monitoring, water efficient showerheads in change rooms and minimising water used for cleaning. Participation in the Waterwise Aquatic Centre Program is voluntary and can contribute to endorsement as part of the Waterwise Council Program if the centre operated by a council.
