LIWA Aquatics is proud to invite applications for the 2025 Aquatic & Recreation Mentoring Program—a dynamic initiative designed to support the growth, confidence, and career progression of professionals working across Western Australia’s aquatic and recreation sector.
As a longstanding leader in professional development, LIWA continues to evolve its programs to meet the real-world needs of our industry. Building on the strong foundations and feedback from last year’s highly successful program, the 2025 Mentoring Program introduces new features that will enhance the experience for both mentors and mentees.
The program is open to anyone working in the aquatic and recreation industry, including:

Core Program Features
✔ Six interactive development workshops for mentees (2 hours each). Mentors are highly encouraged to attend.
✔ Mentor induction session to build confidence and consistency
✔ Ongoing support and check-ins to keep everyone engaged and on track

Mentors must have 8+ years in the industry
Commitment
- 7 sessions outlined above including one face to face session at the WA Aquatic & Recreation Conference on 7th August at PCEC. Note this is a standalone session. Conference entrance is not included.
- 6 x 1 hour one-on-one session with mentee.
MENTEE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST APPLICATION FORM
Mentee's must complete the Letter of Commitment Form and attach to your application - see below
