Aquatic Technical Officers (ATO) Collaboration Group Meetings

Meeting Date | 13th October 2026                   

Meeting Time | 11am site tour.  11.30am Meeting commences. 

Location | Armadale Fitness & Aquatic Centre, Training Room.  Light refreshments provided.

  • Please ensure you are logged into your membership to register for this meeting.  
  • Limit of 2 delegates per Centre in person. The meeting is restricted to 40 in person delegates.
  • No limit for those joining via TEAMS

The Aquatic Technical Officers (ATO) Collaboration Group brings together aquatic professionals from across Western Australia to connect, share knowledge and work through common operational and technical challenges.

Held quarterly, the meetings provide a practical and collaborative forum where participants can discuss current industry issues, share experiences and solutions, troubleshoot technical challenges and learn from colleagues across the sector.

Topics may include plant and equipment, water treatment and dosing systems, facility operations, workforce and staffing challenges, training and development, contractors, procedures and SOPs, industry incidents, new technologies and practical case studies.  Meeting will include a range of technical discussions, problem-solving scenarios, peer-led presentations, guest speakers, practical workshops and resource sharing dependent on the topic.

Who Should Attend?

Aquatic technical operators, coordinators, supervisors, team leaders and other professionals involved in aquatic technical and operational management are encouraged to participate.

Meetings are available in person and via Microsoft Teams, supporting participation from both metropolitan and regional WA. In-person attendance is limited to two representatives per Centre, with unlimited online attendance.  You must log into your LIWA membership to be able to register for this event.

The Network Leads work with LIWA and participants to identify priority topics and ensure meetings remain practical, relevant and driven by the needs of the industry.

Working together to share knowledge, solve common challenges and strengthen the Western Australian aquatic industry.
