2025–26 ARC Fees and Charges Project Now Open
The second year of the Aquatic and Recreation Centre (ARC) Fees and Charges Project is now open!
Following the success of last year’s project, which saw 65 centres participate, LIWA Aquatics & RLSWA are once again inviting Leisure Centres, Sports Stadiums, Aquatic Centres, and Aquatic & Recreation Centres across Western Australia to take part in the 2025–26 ARC Fees and Charges Project.
About the Project
The ARC Fees and Charges Project is an annual data collection initiative that compiles and shares information on fees, charges, and key operational details from facilities across both metropolitan and regional WA.
The project aims to:
-
Assist facility managers in sharing operational fees and charges
-
Enable effective benchmarking and comparison across centres
-
Support evaluation and refinement of fee structures and pricing models
-
Improve access to data for strategic planning and business case development
By participating, centres contribute to a valuable sector-wide resource that supports informed decision-making and benchmarking across WA’s aquatics, recreation, sport, and leisure industry.

The information collected is not subject to a confidentiality agreement. Contributors are encouraged to use the data responsibly and for its intended purposes — planning, advocacy, comparison, and review.
Intended Use of the Data
-
Benchmarking: Compare fees and charges across facilities to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement.
-
Business Planning & Review: Use the data to inform business cases, financial planning, and the review of fee structures.
