Consultant Opportunity to Shape Aquatic & Recreation Leadership

Published Fri 02 May 2025

The Leisure Institute of Western Australia Aquatics (LIWA), in collaboration with Royal Life Saving WA, has announced an exciting opportunity for a qualified consultant to lead the development of a new industry-focused training program — the Aquatic & Recreation Facility Managers Course (ARFMC).

This innovative, practitioner-led course aims to equip both current and emerging leaders in the aquatic and recreation sector with the practical skills and knowledge required to manage facilities effectively across Western Australia. While unaccredited, the ARFMC is designed to address the real-world challenges faced by facility managers and supervisors in this dynamic field, with a strong emphasis on leadership, operations, safety, and community engagement.
