The Leisure Institute of Western Australia (LIWA) is proud to announce Jonas Leisure as the Platinum Sponsor of the 2026 WA Aquatic & Recreation Conference, further strengthening a valued and ongoing partnership that continues to support the growth of the aquatic and recreation industry across Western Australia.
Jonas Leisure’s commitment to the sector extends well beyond the conference, with their continued support also spanning the WA Aquatic & Recreation Industry (ARI) Awards and the Facility Managers Course. This sustained investment reflects a genuine dedication to the people and organisations who plan, manage and deliver essential aquatic and recreation services across the state. LIWA extends its sincere thanks to Alissa Lim (Group Manager) and Jonas Leisure for their leadership and ongoing support of the industry.
As a leading provider of innovative leisure management software, Jonas Leisure connects organisations with solutions that streamline operations, improve efficiency and simplify day-to-day facility management. Their technology is trusted across more than 600 sites, supporting over 3,500 daily users and 250 clients throughout Australasia demonstrating a significant impact on the way facilities operate and serve their communities.
The Platinum Sponsorship represents the premier partnership opportunity within the conference, aligning Jonas Leisure with Western Australia’s leading industry event and reinforcing their position as a key contributor to advancing innovation and excellence across the sector.
Taking place on 26–27 August 2026 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the WA Aquatic & Recreation Conference is the state’s flagship event—bringing together professionals from across facility management, aquatic operations, health and fitness, swim schools, and community recreation to share knowledge, explore new ideas and shape the future of the industry. Building on strong attendance of more than 550 delegates in 2025, the 2026 conference is set to be the biggest yet, continuing its role as a central hub for collaboration, innovation and professional development.
This year’s conference theme, Places to Play: From Planning to Participation, will be brought to life through an expanded program featuring five concurrent streams across health and fitness, aquatic technical operations, facility planning, sports programming, facility management and swim school. Attendees can expect a dynamic lineup of expert presenters, practical insights and meaningful networking opportunities designed to support every facet of the industry.
In addition to the conference, delegates will once again come together to celebrate excellence at the WA ARI Awards—recognising outstanding individuals, teams and facilities that are driving innovation, safety and community impact across Western Australia.
With early bird registrations opening in the first week of May, attendees are encouraged to secure flights and accommodation early and plan to be part of the industry’s most important event of 2026.
LIWA looks forward to working alongside Jonas Leisure to deliver an exceptional conference experience and to welcoming delegates from across the state this August.
