Pool Robotics Perth sponsorship extended

Published Mon 05 Oct 2026

LIWA Aquatics is pleased to announce that Pool Robotics Perth will continue as its Principal Professional Development Sponsor for 2026–27, extending a partnership that has supported professional development opportunities for aquatic and recreation professionals across Western Australia.

Over the past year, Pool Robotics Perth has supported LIWA’s growing calendar of regional seminars, technical tours and industry events, helping bring practical learning and networking opportunities directly to people working across the sector.

This has included technical tours providing behind-the-scenes access to aquatic facilities and their operations, as well as regional professional development bringing together aquatic, recreation and local government professionals outside metropolitan Perth.

The partnership has also provided opportunities for Pool Robotics Perth to share its own technical knowledge and experience with the industry, while supporting greater collaboration between facilities, suppliers and aquatic professionals across WA.

David Shephard from Pool Robotics Perth said the family-owned business was proud to reinvest in the sector.

“We have really enjoyed being involved with LIWA over the past year and seeing the value these events provide to people working in the industry. Bringing professionals together to share experiences and practical knowledge helps everyone do their job better.”

“As a family business, it is important to us that we give something back. Supporting professional development, particularly through regional seminars and technical tours, is a practical way to help strengthen the industry.”

Pam Shephard said they admired LIWA’s commitment to the future of aquatic and recreation facilities.

“David and I love that LIWA is focused on safer, more connected and more accessible aquatic and recreation facilities across Western Australia. It is a small organisation making a big difference.”

“We are pleased to continue supporting work that helps industry people connect, learn and take new ideas back to their own facilities.”

LIWA Executive Officer Leith Fradd said Pool Robotics Perth’s continued support would help LIWA build on the professional development delivered over the past year and provide more opportunities across WA.

“We are thrilled that Pam and David will continue supporting LIWA as we expand our events and professional development calendar. Their partnership helps us deliver practical opportunities for industry professionals to visit facilities, learn directly from their peers and specialists, and share knowledge that can be taken back into their own workplaces.”

That program continues this October, with the Aquatic & Recreation Seminar in Narrogin bringing aquatic, recreation and local government professionals from across the Wheatbelt together for a full day of professional development, networking and practical learning.

Later in the month, LIWA will head to the award-winning Armadale Fitness & Aquatic Centre for a Health & Fitness Technical Tour exploring the planning, delivery and early outcomes of the Centre’s recent health and fitness refresh.

With the partnership extended for another year, Pool Robotics Perth and LIWA Aquatics will continue working together to create practical, accessible professional development opportunities and strengthen connections across Western Australia’s aquatic and recreation industry.
