The Leisure Institute of Western Australia (Aquatics) is proud to announce a new partnership with Pool Robotics Perth, who have come on board as our Principal Professional Development Sponsor for the next 12 months.

With the support of Pool Robotics Perth and the leadership of Director David Shephard, LIWA Aquatics will deliver a strengthened calendar of seminars, workshops, and events designed in direct response to the needs of our members and the wider industry.

At its heart, this initiative is about ensuring our workforce has access to the latest knowledge, tools, and innovations needed to deliver safe, sustainable, and vibrant aquatic and recreation services across Western Australia.

The sponsorship will be launched at our upcoming Regional Seminars in Toodyay and Margaret River, where Dr Christian Mauri will deliver a practical workshop on De-escalation, Conflict and Aggression. The session will equip lifeguards, technical operators, and recreation staff with the skills to safely manage challenging customer interactions and prevent situations from escalating.
