LIWA Aquatics and Water Corporation Renew Waterwise Partnership
LIWA Aquatics is pleased to continue its long-standing partnership with Water Corporation for 2026–27.
Since 2012, the partnership has supported aquatic centres across Western Australia to improve water efficiency, share successful initiatives and receive recognition for their achievements. Since 2008, Waterwise programs supporting aquatic centres have helped save around 1.5 billion litres of water—enough to fill approximately 671 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
The 2026–27 partnership will focus on education and industry engagement, including metropolitan and regional professional development, webinars, practical case studies and industry resources. Waterwise achievements will also be showcased through LIWA’s communications, annual Conference and Industry Awards.
With 62 participating facilities across metropolitan and regional WA, the renewed partnership will continue helping aquatic centres reduce water use, improve operational practices, and learn from successful initiatives across the sector.
New program participants are always welcome. Participation is free and offers a great way to enhance your pool’s sustainability outcomes while showcasing your commitment to responsible water management within your community.
Water Corporation can provide participating centres with guidance, water-use data and access to free online training. Further information, application criteria and the full list of participating centres are available on the LIWA Aquatics website.
For those already participating, you should have received information about your re-endorsement process. Thank you for taking the time to complete this important step. The information you provide helps us celebrate your achievements, understand your facility's experiences, and identify opportunities to continue improving water efficiency outcomes across the program.
