$150 per annum (inclusive of GST)
Individual Membership supports professionals working across the aquatic and recreation industry, providing access to professional development, industry resources, and recognition—whether or not technical accreditation is required for your role.
This membership is suitable for individuals working in roles such as:
- Aquatic Technical Operators (ATOs)
- Former ATOs no longer working on pool deck
- Recreation and Facility Managers
- Planners and Community Infrastructure Officers
- Program and Sports Coordinators
- Customer Service Officers
- Gym and Swim School Instructors
- Pool Lifeguards

Accreditation Requirement (Aquatic Technical Operators)
For members who are, or seek to become, Aquatic Technical Operators (ATOs) in Group 1 Aquatic Facilities, Individual Membership is mandatory for accreditation. Once you have joined as a member please apply for your ATO Accreditation on this link or on the link in the tool bar titled Accreditation
To maintain ATO accreditation, Individual Membership and all qualifications must remain current. Professional development points are also required to be maintained. If any component lapses, accreditation will be revoked, and the individual cannot legally operate as a Group 1 Aquatic Facility ATO in Western Australia until reinstated.
