EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
All LIWA Aquatics tickets are issued subject to these terms and conditions of sale and entry. By purchasing event tickets and/or attending any LIWA Aquatics event(s) the purchaser and any attendee agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
Tickets
- Payment must be made prior to the event to secure your registration or a purchase order must be supplied for an invoice to be issued.
- Conference packages can not be shared between Individuals/staff.
- All events are priced in Australian dollars (AUD)
Cancellations by LIWA Aquatics
LIWA Aquatics reserves the right to:
- Cancel/alter scheduled dates for any LIWA Aquatics events where minimum attendance numbers are not reached.
- Change the location of any LIWA Aquatics event
- Substitute speakers for any LIWA Aquatics event.
In the event of an event being cancelled, LIWA Aquatics will notify registered attendees via email, prior to the event date to offer an alternative event at an alternative date or to refund in full the event fee. If your payment is received after the maximum numbers are reached, LIWA Aquatics will contact you and a full refund will be made.
Cancellations by Attendees
If you cannot attend a booked event, a substitute attendee may be sent as a replacement (subject to approval). The name of new attendee is to be provided to LIWA Aquatics prior to the event (If possible)
All cancellations received 21 days or more prior to the event may be entitled to 100% of the ticket cost.
If you wish to cancel 7-20 days before the start of the event - 50% of the ticket cost may be refunded.
No refunds will be granted for cancellations up to 6 days prior to the event.
Late fees may be incurred after registration cut-off dates, these dates will be advertised as part of the event details and registration periods.
All cancellations or postponements must be notified in writing to LIWA Aquatics via email or the withdrawal request in your membership profile.
Once tickets are purchased and the attendance allocated to the event, in advance Purchaser requests for cancellations or refunds of Tickets prior to the event will only be allowed in LIWA Aquatics’ sole discretion in circumstances of demonstrated hardship or events beyond your reasonable control.
Where an event requires a minimum attendance and the event has been scheduled on the basis of bookings, cancellations will not be allowed where the cancellation will result in attendees being less than the minimum attendance requirements. Tickets may be transferred to another staff member, friend or colleague but may not be re-sold for profit.
Non-attendance
Non-attendance of any event due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to refunds or a transfer to another event.
Delegate/Attendee Information
The collection of personal data for LIWA Aquatics events is for the purpose of updating delegate information & event administration. Delegate names and contact details will also be available to LIWA Aquatics Business and Trade Exhibitors that attended the event, delegates are to advise LIWA Aquatics if they do not wish for their information to be passed on to Business/Trade Exhibitors that attended the event.
