It is with great pleasure that we announce two members at the AGM last night who were voted in as Life Members.

John "Simmo" Simmonds is a name that most people who are from Regional WA would know.  He has been instrumental in assisting and mentoring the next generation of Pool Managers in the regions and to always be on hand to help out or provide advice to others in the industry.    

Dale Morrissy has been involved in the industry for over 30 years starting out as a young lifeguard and working his way to the top to manage the Beatty Park Leisure Centre.  His involvement with LIWA being a board member and treasurer for many years and also a key player in the development and implementation of Watch Around Water 20 years ago has now been recognised by LIWA and members by awarding Dale and Simmo Life Membership.

We congratulate both Dale and Simmo and thank them for their commitment, passion and drive that has helped shape the industry into what it is today.
