With a $5.5 million investment aimed at enhancing school swimming lessons and water safety, this initiative is expected to save families hundreds of dollars while encouraging more children to learn vital swimming skills. · Read more
The City of Stirling opened the largest public outdoor lap pool in the Southern Hemisphere on 2 September at Stirling Leisure - Inglewood.   The new facility, featuring a lap pool heated to 27.5 degrees Celsius and holding 2.5 million litres of water, includes ten 50-metre lanes and four 25-metre lanes. The pool area has been upgraded with a new concourse, landscaping, and LED lighting. · Read more
The third annual WA Aquatic Recreation Industry (ARI) Awards, hosted by LIWA Aquatics, honoured the leading professionals in the state’s aquatic recreation sector.  These awards recognise excellence among individuals, aquatic facilities, their staff and organisations, acknowledging their dedication to enhancing aquatic recreation communities, programs, facility operations, management, and safety.
